Ballina Boxing Club Committee

It is a legal requirement that all members of Irish clubs where adults are in contact with minors be compliant with the requirements of the national Garda Vetting Unit and all members of the above committee have Garda clearance to work with minors, having regard also to the guidelines for members' own protection in our constitution. Ballina Boxing Club is affilliated to the Irish Athletic Boxing Association (IABA) which has posted useful relevant documentation on their site: http://iaba.ie/safe-guarding-and-child-protection-section/ The Irish government have a publication on Child Protection Guidelines posted here and all officers and coaches have read and have agreed to comply with recommendations therein.
